Kale trudged along the dreary banks of blood and flesh, unfazed. He did not cast a single glance toward the heavily depressed child, but rather continued his gradual, if not slow, gait about the decrepit body. He extended his palm with a different, nonchalant air and a calm wind seemed to seep from his pores. Cooling the air and sporting it with chaste, transparent white smoke that curled in tendrils of fog. He inhaled deeply, and as he released the breath the winds began to settle and drag along the forest floor so rolls of coarse grass and roots crept in an a consuming wave across the man's limbs, absorbing his blood. Stems of flowers rose from the slowly carpeting mass, absorbing the man's form and leveling it into the earth, the mound of his body suppressed and soon succumbed into a state of full grass blades and white flowered stems. Bear completely released his breath and his lungs cleared, the swelling of their strain escaped him in an emotionless huff. His sharp eyes concealed, momentarily, beneath onyx lashes. His skin moistened and slick and the air anew with a crisp, fresh twang. "Do you know what it means to be a God, pet..." His voice was a subtle rumble in the pit of his throat, deep and resonant. "Those endowed with immortality bear the responsibility of the mortals that stray into their hands. The unfaithful are left to die, and are then consumed. While the faithful suffer a worse fate and are continuously reborn." He turned his face to her, the length of his jaw supple, neither burdened with a smile nor a frown. Yet his back remained cold to her, and his dark eyes tense and bright with critical light. "Tell me, pet, what exactly did you plan to accomplish by meeting them? They are cruel and persistent men, did you think merely telling them to stop was going to do anything?" His burrow furrowed while the chiseled points of his teeth gnashed and clenched. His voice was no louder, but the spite was heavily pronounced in his sharp, virile tongue. Loud and distinct in consistent intervals, alike the bark of a dog. "Stop your crying! You knew the consequence of killing this man. This is not a child's playground where the teased stand and are then respected, no, men kill each other senselessly! They murder and burn, and simple defiance could never do anything to stop that! So use your head!" His lips stilled as he quieted to mutely regain his breath, eyes fixated with a beast like flare upon her. He paused, but only momentarily, and although he spoke in a gentler tone it retained disgust and disapproval. "You're fast, pet. I'll give you that... However, it would be much greater appreciated if you transferred that speed to your brain where it's in dire need... I can smell traces of human in your blood, but that does not mean you are forced to listen to either one side or the other. Peace lies in balance, and so you must balance yourself. If you can't you are useless to this world and disserve to rot." He spat, muffled with animosity, but specifically articulated so it came clear and unsullied by his rage.
