Nellie strolled through the streets of the town they had camped by. They being she and the travelling band she was, well, traveling with. The intoxicating smells of the many wares being sold at the market filled her nostrils, leading her to a small stand being passed by many. The many blades displayed there were beautiffull and the lioness anthro strolled leisurly up to the old crane managing the stand, " How much for that one?" Nellie swept her paw that wasn't holding a basket to a brown leather hilted blade in the middle. The blade was delicately curved for beauty in motion and a deadly strike. A voice sounded behind her, "Nice choice. Though you don't strike me as... that kind of a female." Nellie turned to the source of the voice to find a coy smile etched onto the lips of a red-haired wolf. "What is that supposed to mean?" She countered, ennoyed at the fact she hadn't heared the wolfette behind her. She just laughed, "Oh, nothing!" The red-head turned to the old crane, "Jacki-o!" The crane seemed nervous, because he jumped, nearly dropping the straw hat he had begun to fiddle with. "Y-Yes, Bounty? Mi-Lady?" The wolf named Bounty motioned to the same blade Nellie had been admiring, "That one." The elderly bird nodded, "Yes Mi-Lady. Right away." and proceded to sheath the blade and wrap it in a crimson red cloth before tentavly handing it to Bounty, who took it rather gently from the old crane while smiling, "Thanks, Jack!" Nellie opened her mouth to speak in protest, but before she could get anything in edge wise, the crimson package ws thrust into her basket, possible ruining some loafs of bread. "A gift was all the wolf said before winking and dissapearing into the crowd, leaving a speechless fortune teller and an old crane close to heart attack.

Stout, velvet ears, once rested upon his cranium in a delicate manner, were now perked in a strict and quite erect position. Ponderous eyes wandered in ennui perusal under a quirked brow, elbow slouched on the mahogany bag athwart him. Drifting gaze captured by the two, well most specifically the fair gypsy, his attention was swiftly drawn. Unlike the common public, Scout was compelled to the sight the gypsy, without any trace of disdain. Lax shoulders were dressed in very simple clothing, nothing superior to a peasant, merchant at best. The compact, pilate tail of a husky offered a brisk, pleasant swing. "Fair Day, lass!" Far from being a sophist, this canine elicited his rank without restraint through his nonchalant dialect. "How fare ye?" Whether he was successful in captivating either of the pair's attention, the placid Scout would casually linger closer. Carelessly, the canine would nudge the novel sack. "You wouldn't happened to have ordered something, recently, eh?" Fur adorned digits clutched the hold of his bag, the straps almost appearing to mimic a scarf as it constricted the perimeter of his neck. Eloquent soft sapphire eyes continued to hover on her form, not giving the Crane an ounce of acknowledgment. "I'm only a cursed dose of silver away from dinner tonight."

Nellie chuckled and flicked her ears in amusement as she looked at the black and white canine. The lioness tilted her head slightly and offered, "Why don't you save thoughs coins for later and dine with me at my camp?" He seemed like he would fit in, the husky certainly radiated hospitality to others. Most wouldn't aproach Nellie or any of the other Gypsies for the simple fact of racism. The crane probably would have paid no head to her and was, in favt, ignoring her at this very moment. He did casually throw a glare of annoyence her way, however.

Velvet ears erected in his sudden stir, controlled by profuse appearance of ineffable gratitude. Fickle paws brushed back the sagging scarf, while pleasant eyes wandered between the pair. "Oh miss, that would be bliss, without a doubt." Placid locution imbued with potent glee absorbed his presence. Mischievous grin captured the majority of his antic countenance, flashed at gypsy. "You sure you didn't order something lass?" Greed no longer plagued his stare, only curiosity. "Oh, no, what I mean, is I swear I've seen a face of yours around these parts before. Nevermind me." A playful touch to the Crane's shoulder was delivered by the witty husky, ennui eyes scanning the bird in a involute manner. "Aye, am I intruding much, sir?"

The crane flinched at the touch and shooed the Husky and Lioness away, " Just go, just go!" Nellie let out a growl of non-appreciation which sent the crane scattering back to his cart. A sigh escaped her lips, "I appologize for that," people had begun to stare and avoid Nellie more than normal, "I just don't appreciate being man-handled." She rearanged the items in her basket to hide her embarassment and restlesness. No doubt someone would report her harrassing some elder. She looked up and grinned warmly, "I've never been here since I was three. First time back. Would you like to leave for the camp now? I am finished with my erands."
